The body using refracting glass was something I added based off of an old screenshot of early glados being a glass cube. I took some time separating them for the 2 hits Glados takes in the new final room. ![]() Anyway, I also found that the Glados "brain" was originally to have taken 4 hits instead of 3, but the logic of the 2nd and 3rd hits were packed together for the version of the map we have. What's interesting is that the Glados fight and chase sequence itself is on its own map, Escape_02, meaning that at some point before the leak, you would have fought Glados on Escape_01 instead. ![]() On the map "escape_01," I found two unused groups called "Steaming Refuse" and "old pillbox logic," which were both early pieces of the Glados chase sequence. The Portal Project Beta team used this 2006 mappack to recreate Portal in its 2006 form (though with some improper usage of era accurate assets.) However, included in these vmfs are a number of unused "Visgroups," which are essentially user-defined groups of objects inside a map's source file. Included in this leak was the 2006 version of Portal in its entirety. Download is at the bottom of the Description.
